My 2 Favorite Warm (Boozy) Drink Recipes for Fall

It’s the season of pumpkin everything, apple cider donuts, Christmas shopping, and curling up on the couch with your favorite hot drink.
Move over Starbucks! The shift in the weather has me craving a hot
cocktail and here are two of my favorite:

1.      Chai Hot Toddy

I love a Chai Latte during this time of year and when you add a little Rum it’s that much better! Put on come cozy jammies, pick your favorite Holiday movie, and get ready to enjoy that Chai Hot Toddy.

-6 cups of water
-8 chai tea bags
-1/2 cup of honey
-2 cup Almond Milk
-1 teaspoon pure Vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 8 ounces spiced rum

Start by adding your tea bags to boiling water and let it steep for 10
min covered.

Meanwhile, heat your almond milk and sugar to boil. Take off the head and add vanilla and cinnamon, stir well. Finally add the steaming milk mixture into the tea.

Don’t forget to add the spiced rum and stir.

Top the drink with a dash of cinnamon and you have a Chai Hot Toddy.

2.      Mulled Wine

Definetley a holiday favorite! Every year at the Christkindle Market I start with a Mulled Wine to keep my hands warm while we
walk around and enjoy the holiday spirit!

-1 Bottle Cabernet Sauvignon
– ½ Cup of Brandy
– 4 Cups of Apple Cider
-Juice of an Orange
-5 Clove
-4 Cinnamon Sticks
-3 Star of Anise
-Honey (To Your Liking)

*Simmer for 10-15 Minutes*

I hope these drinks help you stay warm after a long day of Christmas shopping!

Thanks for stopping by, Xo B!
