Neutrals + Must Have Military Jacket.

Winter is officially upon us (not happy) and right before we were hit with this cold weather I put my winter coat away and decided to stay warm by layering. My number one fear with layering was looking bulky; I wanted to stay warm but didn’t want my figure to disappear completely. I realized that the texture was important so I started off with a thin long sleeve t-shirt, added a wool sweater, and finally my military jacket. You can add a belt to create a waistline or in my case I used the military coat for that. Mixing different colors helps maintain a sleek look, using the same color will blend together and can make you look bigger. It’s also important to balance a baggy top with a skinny bottom. I paired my skinny jeans with a nude pump because it gives the illusion of lean, long legs but you can go with a bootie or an over the knee boot. I hope everyone had a great time with their families! Happy New Year to everyone!
