Picking The Perfect Summer Dress / El Vestido Perfecto para Verano

A breezy dress will keep you looking presentable and comfortable, no matter how hot it is outside. The key during the hot summer days is to go for a light fabric that moves, similar to the dress that I am wearing.

This dress would look great on a lot of body types, I added a white belt around my waist, but if you are pregnant or have a wide mid-section you could lose the belt or place it higher. I love wearing color during the summer, your skin is glowing, accessories can be minimal when wearing print, and everything in Mexico is so vibrant and full of color!

I wanted the dress to be the center of attention, which is why I went with a white shoe and purse. Of course if you want to go bold add a hot pink clutch and a bright pair of heels. I kept my hair and makeup minimal as well, I skipped the foundation and went for a BB cream by Bobbi Brown, I used a cream blush, some bronzer, added a bold lip, and put my hair up in a messy bun. This cut down my “getting ready” time from 45 minutes to 15 minutes!
