That California Girl Style: Back to Basics

Happy Hump day! Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with family and friends, I myself took a quick trip to Los Angeles and I fell in LOVE with Santa Monica! One thing I noticed was that California girls always looked amazing but without trying too hard, their style was effortless and sexy. California is generally known for a laid back but sophisticated style, which is why I went with a pair of denim cut off shorts for a day of exploring. I paired them with a gray Paige tank, did a casual half-tuck, and finished it off with a pair of sneakers (Cali girls love their sneakers).

Everyone is so outdoorsy, active, friendly, and very laid back. On this beautiful day we decided to go for a walk on the Santa Monica Pier, people were swimming, surfing; running, tanning, and we joined in on the fun and rented some bikes. We went for a cruise down to Venice Beach on the Mile Bike Path, this was an amazing ride with beautiful view of ocean and great place to people watch. You will have to add this to your to-do list when you visit LA along with the Santa Monica Pier, and a walk down Third Street Promenade.

Anyone going on a vacation soon? Where else would you check out in Santa Monica?
