Plaid is everywhere! Seen on everything from handbags, dresses to infinity scarves, best of all it can be worn all year round but my favorite time to wear it is fall and winter. It just makes me remember that leaves will soon be falling, Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks, and lounging at home will be happening a lot more.

This H&M top is comfortable, soft, and I can’t wait to wear it with leggings, a dark denim skirt, leather shorts and tights, white denim etc. A plaid shirt is one of those items that you will never regret buying and will want to live in it! I had a friend of mine mention that its difficult for her to find a plaid shirt because she has a big bust, if that’s the case I recommend layering a tank under the shirt and leave an extra button open. I went with high-rise jeans in a dark wash because they can easily transition from day to night; I wore this outfit to run errands during the day and later met up a friend for dinner. All I had to do was retouch my makeup and I was ready to go. This jean style would be a great choice for someone that is petite because it creates the illusion of longer legs, and it looks sleek and polished. I went with my Zara leather jacket but you could layer a fur vest over this to glam it up or a cardigan for a more laid back look.
