The Girlfriend Jean Is Here To Stay- Move Over Boyfriend Jean

What is the difference between the boyfriend jean and the girlfriend jean you ask? The girlfriend jean has a tighter fit, sits higher on the hip, and a slim straight leg. It’s a more classic and flattering fit that is slightly cropped, and more structured than boyfriend jeans. This fit would be a great option for my ladies out there with curves or that aren’t tall, consider these your “tailored boyfriend jeans”. Some will love it, others will hate it, but I have to say I am a huge fan and can’t wait pair them with some pointy toe flats, slouchy tank, and blazer for brunch with my girls!

On this day I paired my girlfriend jeans with an oversized gray sweater, my go-to leather jacket (investment piece), black pumps, a beautiful statement necklace from Parklane, and this gray Kate Spade mini bag. This would be a great outfit to hit the town for dinner and drinks with the BF or a late lunch with friends.
