Thursday Trend: The Duster Jacket

The duster jacket is lightweight, airy, and loose fitting. On this day my chambray duster jacket dressed up my jeans but would also look great with shorts and flats or sneakers. It’s longer than a standard trench coat, can take an outfit from casual to chic, and perfect for those cool spring days. The perfect lightweight jacket helps creates proportional balance and can be worn over that mini skirt, crop top, shorts, or a bodycon dress. Chrissy Teigen has been rocking her duster jacket all through out her pregnancy, work it girl! If you are shorter/petite opt for a cropped duster, stay away from too much fabric that can drown you.

My chambray duster from the Who What Wear collection available at Target took my ripped white jeans and pink top from basic to chic. This gorgeous coat is under $50 dollars, not to mention its on trend because denim isn’t just for jeans anymore. You will see your favorite bloggers and celebs wearing it from head-to-toe. I can’t wait to show you how many ways you can style this jacket!
