Oops I Wore It Again- Long Cardigan & Distressed Denim

It finally feels like Fall in Chicago, which means it’s time to pull out the boots, jackets, scarves, and cardigans! I love a long cardigan, they are warm, super cozy, and the best part is that anyone can wear a long cardigan.

You can find knee-length designs, as well as floor-length, available in lace, chunky wool, knits, and in a variety of patterns. Not to mention it’s a great layering piece, an alternative to the coat, and can take you from the office to din din by simply switching out those sneakers for a sexy pump.

This look is a great way to ease into fall; I went with a classic white tee, fitted distressed boyfriend jeans and a brown pointy toe pump to let the ankles peek out.

I suggest you wear long cardigans with fitted bottoms; they look best and create a good balance.

If you are afraid of the cardigan overwhelming your frame you can add a belt, this will accentuate your waist and show off your curves.

Long cardigans are a great way to add a bit of flare to any outfit and balance out short shorts or a miniskirt.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Shopping!
