Spring Ahead: Blush Pink Is Back
When you start to see department stores and boutiques filled with blush pink it’s a clear sign that spring is close. Blush pink is soft, elegant, feminine, and sophisticated allowing you to wear it to work, lunch date, dinner, or even a wedding. Blush pink is an accent shade, try it with black, red, navy, powder blue (love this combo), white, olive, burgundy, and so many more. If you are afraid that this color will wash you out go with an accessory such as a clutch, handbag, belt, or shoes. I had to pack these blush pink cropped jeans from Zara for my trip to Buenos Aires. I consider them a neutral in my suitcase; I could dress it down like I did on this post for a day of exploring and site seeing. On this day of playing tourist I went with this stripped t-shirt, beige mesh booties from Dolce Vita, and my jean jacket. If I want a nighttime look I would add wedges, blouse, a leather jacket or blazer for a dinner and drinks. On this day we paid a visit to La Casa Rosada (The Pink House), this is the executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina. This beautiful house is found in the Plaza de Mayo, the name commemorates the May Revolution of 1810, the start of the country’s independence from Spain. Suddenly we found ourselves on 9 De Julio Avenue, at 140 meters; it’s the world’s widest avenue! I felt like an ant while standing in the center of this enormous avenue. The building behind me pays homage to Eva Peron (Evita). Eva was the first lady of Argentina who fought for women’s suffrage and improving the lives of the poor.I hope everyone had an amazing weekend, thanks for stopping by!Xo B!Zara Stripped Print T-Shirt / Zara Skinny Mid-Rise Skinny / (Similar) Dolce Vita Booties
