Fitness Friday- Snacking Healthy 

  Hey Guys! Welcome back to Fitness Friday, last week I shared four tips that would help us all get motivated and back in the gym. This week I am talking about SNACKS! I am one of those people who is constantly snacking, the key is to find snacks that are healthy and delicious. A healthy diet is the foundation for weight loss and living a fit lifestyle. Today I am sharing some of my favorite snacks that I pack to work, throw in my purse when I am on the go, or enjoy in the comfort of my own home.        Apple + Almond ButterApples leave you feeling satisfied and they are a great source of fiber and Almond butter is a great source of protein.    Banana + Almond Butter+ ToastBananas is a great source of potassium, high in fiber, and help with high blood pressure. Almond Butter adds hunger-curbing protein and healthy monounsaturated fats.  AlmondsAlmonds have more fiber and protein than any other nut and can actually lower the risk of high cholesterol and heart disease.  CarrotsA great source of fiber, low in fat, and a great source of key vitamins and minerals.        ThinkThin BarsI love having one after a workout or if work gets hectic my ThinkThin bar always does the trick and keeps me feeling full. I'm sure there are other options out there and some might disagree with my choice; but one thing we can all agree on is that protein is an essential part of a healthy diet. Btw, these adorable yoga pants and top are from Fabletics!
