It is hard not to fall in love with Florence, it’s the most romantic city in the world! Not only that, the gelato is amazing, live music everywhere, delicious coffee, offers great shopping, it has a vibrant nightlife, the Duomo is unreal, and the list goes on. There is a certain energy and soul in Florence that makes it unforgettable and easy to fall in love with life again. It was a beautiful reminder that the most important things in life are health, family, and love. Here are some of the reasons why I fell in love with this amazing city.

Romance is in the air 

Everyone walks around holding hands and smiling; families’ gather at night to have dinner, and couples can’t get enough of each other (PDA is major here).

Gelato

I’ve had withdrawals ever since I came back to the states! Afterall I was consuming the same amount of gelato as I was wine (I'm not kidding). I recommend you make at stop at Perche' no and make sure to get a scoop of the lavender flavor!

Food

Everything was delicious, I loved the coffee, wine, pizza, pasta, and their famous truffle sandwiches found at All'antico Vinaio were to die for! Yup expect a line, but I guarantee you it is worth the wait!

Felt like a kid again

I couldn’t believe I was in Italy on the Carousel in Piazza della Repubblica!

Live Music

I'll never forget the first night my best friend and I were exploring and got lost in the streets of Florence, they were filled live performers at every turn.

Shopping

All my shopping needs were met in Florence, the leather market is amazing. If leather isn't your thing you will find Jeweler shops, trendy stores, and high-end fashion boutiques as well..

We had dinner at La Loggia on our last night in Firenze; we watched the sun set while enjoying the Florentine Steak with a glass of wine

The Duomo

This impressive piece of architecture is the largest Duomo in Italy. I couldn’t get enough of it, I could sit there all day and just stare at it. It's absolutely breathtaking.

Museums

There is no shortage here.

Night Life

Without a doubt there is something for everyone, it could be live music and dinner, bar hopping, or hitting up the flo (best nightclub in Florence).

The beauty of this city will stay in my heart and head FOREVER.
