It’s such an exciting time in Chicago right now, especially for all the Cubs fans! After a 108-year drought the Cubs beat the Giants and are headed to the National League Championship Series!! Go CUBBIES!!!The Cubs were playing on this day and obviously I had to sport my hat. Plus, it's the best solution when you're having a bad hair day! I took advantage of the beautiful weather in Chicago and spent the day exploring Lincoln Park Zoo with my nephew. I knew getting ready that my outfit had to be a mix of comfort, casual, and weather-appropriate because I would be doing a lot of walking/running around outside with my nephew.Chicago’s weather is always unpredictable, which is why layering was key, and this cozy fuzzy cardigan is a great transition piece. I love throwing a nice cardigan on top of a plain top or even a stripped t-shirt. Pairing it with these high-rise relaxed jeans from H&M, a cross body to keep my hands free, comfortable white converse, and my Cubs hat.I would wear this simple and classic look to run errands, hang out with my nephew, a casual lunch date with the girls, or to a bar to watch the game.I’m all about making the most out of the clothes I already own and putting together something new and fresh.
