Hi Guys! How is everyone doing? I wanted to start todays post by sending a prayer out to everyone that has been affected by Hurricane Irma and Harvey, I can't even imagine what they are going through right now. Ok, so I don't know about you but I'm not in over-the-knee boots or heels everyday. I'm a registered nurse and three days out of the week you will find me in scrubs (I'm not complaining). On my off days I want to leave my house looking casual chic, effortlessly in 30 minutes or less.

1. Knowing what looks good on you will make getting ready in the morning that much easier. My go-to at the moment are high-waited jeans, I seriously can’t get enough of them! They compliment my shape and I've been wearing them with cropped tops, white tees, blouses, and of course off-the-shoulder everthing.

 2. Add pieces to your wardrobe that are timeless and classic. This black off the shoulder top is the perfect piece because it's always on trend like denim. This top is minimal, slick, and can be worn to brunch, dinner, or for a night of dancing. Plus, the subtle flash of skin elongates the neck and gives you the right amount of sexy.

3. Make your outfit work for you! This outfit is the perfect weekend uniform that can take you from day to night. You can simply switch out your denim jacket for a moto jacket and the sneaker with a sexy heel. Add a pop of color with a red lip or purse. I went with this denim on denim look for a day full of errands and catching up with my friend Nidia.

4. Focus on picking out pieces that are versatile and can be used for different occasions. This is something to keep in mind next time you go shopping, especially if you are on a budget. You want to make sure your wardrobe works for you and your lifestyle.
