Pajamas / Blanket / Slippers / Candle

Idk about you but a cozy night at home is high on my priority list. Fall is officially here, the air is cooler and the days are shorter. Many of you are working from home at this time and I think it’s important to create a relaxing and cozy environment to help you unwind after a long stressful day.

At the end of a long workday I want nothing more than to slip into my comfy sweats, grab my favorite blanket, a hot cup of tea, and snuggle up with my hubby on the couch.

Here are my essentials for the perfect cozy night in.

1.     Lounge Wear- thanks to Covid cozy sweats have become my uniform when I’m home. I love to reach in my drawer for the softest and most comfortable sweats and an oversized cardigan.

2.     Cozy Blanket- if you know me, you know I own way too many blankets BUT they are perfect for movie nights or that perfect fall night. I love snuggling on the couch and we have plenty pillows and blankets in the living room.

3.     Twinkly Lights- Twinkle lights create the perfect ambiance for watching a movie, reading, or dozing off. Who doesn’t love a romantic cozy space!

4.     Scented Candles- the glow and the fall scent from the candle provides a feeling of coziness. We have candles in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom.

5.     Brew Tea or Mulled Wine- I love to unwind and relax with a cup of tea. On a Friday night I might switch it up and make some delicious mulled wine or a Chai hot toddy.

6.     Favorite Holiday Movie- I love a romantic comedy or a holiday classic! It’s a great way to bring the family together or a quiet night in with BAE. A few of my favorite movies are Home Alone, The Holiday, The Polar Express, and Alex’s favorite, Die Hard.

 Creating a cozy space is a great way to take some time to slow down with your partner and enjoy each other’s company- while we wait for this season of uncertainty to pass. There are countless ways to cozy up and enjoy the perfect night in – whether you’re hanging with loved ones or just with your numero uno.
