It’s the season of curling on the couch with your favorite hot drink. Move over Starbucks! The shift in the weather has me craving a hot cocktail and here are two of my favorite:

1.     Chai Hot Toddy

I love a Chai Latte during this time of year and when you add a little Rum it’s that much better! Put on come cozy jammies, pick a Holiday movie, and get ready to enjoy that Chai Hot Toddy.

-6 cups of water

-8 chai tea bags

-1/2 cup of honey

-2 cup Almond Milk

-1 teaspoon pure Vanilla extract

-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 8 ounces spiced rum

Start by adding your tea bags to boiling water and let it steep for 10 min covered.

Meanwhile, heat your almond milk and sugar to boil. Take off the head and add vanilla and cinnamon, stir well. Finally add the steaming milk mixture into the tea.

Don’t forget to add the spiced rum and stir.

Top the drink with a dash of cinnamon and you have a Chai Hot Toddy.
