Faux Fur

Fur, fur, fur was everywhere this weekend and it’s not going anywhere since it has been labeled an “official statement piece” this fall. It is a great layering piece that isn’t suffocating but is cozy enough for fall and great under your coat during the winter! There is something so luxurious and elegant about fur, wether it be a long coat, scarf, or in my case a vest!

I wanted my fur vest (faux fur obviously) to be the statement piece so I kept the rest of the outfit neutral. If you aren’t sure how you would incorporate this into your wardrobe or are worried about looking silly I suggest heading to the mall, picking out an outfit and see how you feel. For instance, I could also wear my fur vest with a black blouse, black skinny jeans, over the knee boots and I’m ready for a night out in the city or a checkered shirt, denim, and some flats for a more casual look.
