Hey Guys! Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, I know that we should treat everyday like Valentine’s Day but it doesn’t hurt to show that person you care for some extra love on February 14th. If you weren’t able to celebrate with your loved one on Valentine’s Day because of work, maybe feeling under the weather, or simply life got in the way. I’m sharing my top 5 brunch spots in Chicago that I think you should definitely check out this weekend.

It’s never too late to celebrate, I mean, who doesn’t love brunch! It's something I look forward to on the weekends, I call up the girls, put on a cute/ casual outfit, and head to one of Chicago's must try brunch restaurants ! Keep scrolling to find my top five:

Cindy’s Rooftop- located on the rooftop level of Chicago Athletic Hotel on Michigan Ave you are guaranteed views. If you happen to visit Chicago in Spring or Summer make sure to check out the attached open-air terrace that overlooks Millennium Park. The food and drinks are incredible, theButtermilk PancakesandChilaquiles are AMAZING!

Beatrix- a perfect place for breakfast or brunch with friends or BAE. They have healthy options, fresh squeezed juices, and did I mention they have a Chilaquiles buffet! Two of my favorite dishes are the House Made Belgian Style Waffles and the Green Chili Enchiladas.

Stout- If you are into a more relaxed and chill vibe this is the spot to visit, the food and their Bloody Mary bar is excellent. I would make reservation on Sundays; the bar does get a little busy when there are games on. I would recommend the Red Velvet Pancakes, Nutella & Peanut Butter Pancakes, Chilaquiles, and the Carnitas Benedicts.

Tio Luis- This restaurant is one of my favorite spots when I’m craving some of my favorite Mexican dishes. I would recommend their Taco Dinner, the Gorditas are delicious, and make sure to try the Carne en su Jugo. It’s a beef soup flavored with onions, garlic, and bacon

.Mindy’s Hot Chocolate- I’ve been to this place several times and I love it! The hot chocolate is amaze balls and their homemade marshmallow is the cherry on top. The food is very tasty and good portions; I would recommend the Duck Confit Scramble (my favorite), Avocado Toast, and the French Toast.

Not sure what to wear?! I always go for a great pair of jeans, oversized sweater, and cute booties. I wore this outfit on Sunday for brunch at Beatrix; it's the perfect look for brunch or dinner with the girls or the BF. This oversized sweater is BAE, not only is it soft and cozy but it’s forgiving when you get up more than once to hit up that Chilaquiles buffet at Beatrix. My favorite OTK boots are on SALE for under $100 right now. They are super comfortable, sexy, and they come in three different colors. I added a fun pop of color with a cobalt blue jacket from Forever 21, it's no longer available but this one from indiefit is similar!

To all my Chicagoans, I would love to hear what your favorite Brunch spot in Chicago! Thanks for stopping by!Xo, B!
